skated every evening except monday the past week, the inspiration to skate isn't back yet, but i'm working on it, it's been tough, having reached a training plateau, trying out the screw, wheelings, new runs which aren't as easy as learning everything in the past..
friday saw me going out with a few people from sdu, it was impromptu, but i finally managed to meet my primary sch classmate after we lost contact after leaving primary school for different secondary schools, we sat beside each other and had fights initially, which progressed to friendship, and then a lot of giggles and laughter in class, as we spoke of "dynamite", resulting in the teachers not letting us sit next to each other because we were so disruptive in class... we've both grown, but we're not very different as we are from primary sch, still having things to talk about... also met up with strawberry egg, and sapphirenite, both also from sdu, and had a fun time chatting and sharing muddy mud pie and tiramisu at coffee club... after the whole thing i sent the 2 ladies back, while junde drove home, then i went down to ecp to meet isaac, andrew and cheen, weiling and weiting came along.. and we skated for awhile before heading back to my place to relax. i fell asleep while they were watching the chronicles of riddick.

i woke up earlier on saturday and went down to triax at big splash, been awhile since i caught up with edwin, graham and the rest of the people who form the zig zaggeurs, who i forsee becoming the leading force in slalom in singapore, they've got lots of talent, but not enough time or grounds to train properly at, and perhaps not enough resources. weiling and weiting came down and got themselves new skates, and hopefully they'll be able to pick up skating soon and go skating with the rest of the guys instead of just hanging around at the ecp rink while the guys fool around..

i went down to WWS on sunday and was tasked to prepare a ppt presentation for grassroots leaders at a CDC to further improve the public awareness of wws. wws stands for waterways watch singapore, and they are an environmental group that patrols the waterways of singapore, from kallang, on boats, to monitor rubbish along the singapore, kallang, rochor rivers... wws was featured in the news recently when a minister paid a surprise visit to wws and now the grassroots are sitting up and taking note of the society.. more information can be found at WWS website and i'm also in charge of upgrading the website with a cms... haven't gotten down to it but i guess i should, given that the society has suddenly seen a marked increase in interest from the public and also from the media, with CNA looking to do a feature on the marina barrage, and a sub feature on WWS

i went out with ying on monday, she was so busy at work that we were supposed to meet at 645 at ps but i picked her up from ttsh at 650... we had dinner at cartel and caught ray at 830.. the show was good... it chronicled the life of ray charles robinson pretty well, and showed how he overcame adversity to become an icon of music as we know today... ying was kind of affected by the movie too, and i hope she will become stronger, as what doesn't break you just makes you stronger...
had an AIS exam in the morning, which turned out pretty well, but i have to read instructions really carefully, as i kept thinking i did 5 questions out of 6 when i only did 4... manged to do a last one before handing up..

didn't get enough sleep for tuesday, luckily the lessons for tuesday involved using a slide rule computer which is pretty interesting and hands on, instead of just sitting down and listening...

and the rest of the week should be pretty peachy, meeting quite a few people during the week, roy on tuesday, phyllis on wed, radio academy outing on thur, some sdu event with angel81 on friday, and maybe i'll go look for ying after that, or get the boys and girls to go skating, since it's their term break this week...

and i need more sleep.. as usual :P
