worst place to be.

getting better, but still annoying.

i wait 3 weeks for dsl to be connected/installed. even bought an adsl modem wifi router for it. then optus calls and says they can't install into this apartment, some crossed wire problem, and will not be able to unless i pay almost up to a thousand dollars to rewire the place. unbelievable that it took 3 weeks to inform us.

school is also messed up. they have something like ivle here, but it's called webct, the site doesn't list any of my courses when it's supposed to, my name is also listed wrongly...

then i almost missed my lecture because the venue was published wrongly, along with 10 others. somehow the lecture was supposed to be at wilkinson building at another campus, 10 minutes walk away, 10 of us hanging out, sitting around doing nothing, until one of them thankfully gets a call from a friend who is at the correct venue...

then the mad lightning storm over 2 nights, where train services were disrupted, people were struck by lightning.. it's getting cold.. the wind is strong, and also chilling... can't hang out in my singlets anymore.. hurhur

my phone bill exploded as well... $720... going to use it only in emergencies now...

the only good thing, that somehow doesn't outweigh the bad, is that i'm going for the bmw driver training at eastern creek raceway next friday, and i've also viewed a nice cabriolet, 20 yr old tho.. having transport would be good i guess.

i guess i'm finding it tough because of culture shock and the loss of freedom i used to have back home... hopefully i'll be able to adapt better soon.
