outing day! wee. mom made me upset about my spending habits late on wed night... and i looked into the bank account... quite the horrible i have been... have to cut down on spending...
woke up to have a nice quiet lunch with her, where she enquired abt the shanghai trip.. and had some small disucssions about eating out, paying for your share, and how some people she know are miserly to the extent of wanting to treat people, but end up bringing them to low grade cheapo buffets, and when others treat, expect to be brought to first class fine dining establishments.. or don't pay for what they eat in a group...
went out to meet the Radio Academy-ers, met up with endy at 7 and drove down to orchard, well, the roads in orchard are so packed, like last night before meeting up with milk and crab and pooting, i had to spend a whole 10 minutes at the junction behind borders... but onward to the RA outing, met sab and aaron and james outside old chang kee at heeren, then mark and jill arrived too, and we went over to crown price swensons to look for the 6th and 7th batch people, (i'm from the 8th btw), had dinner, ice-cream, colin gomez was around too... phototaking.. i forgot my camera.. -_-, joy arrived during dinner and then after dinner we adjourned to rouge where there was some event, alan joined us there, arrived to see charissa mc-ing the event, and pug jelly performing... i dunno if i'm too old or just tired of the clubbing scene, but it wasn't exactly a place i'd like to go back to.. the dj couldn't mix properly, repeated songs, the drinks were terrible, at least the place wasn't packed.. and i had the great company of the RAers... we decided to call it quits around 130 and went over to lau pa sat for drinks... must be a bad night, cuz sab and jill ended up getting really sucky drinks.. teh ping that had too much milk and milo that had the colour of teh ping.. it didn't help i was having a bit of a head cold...
i had my cheng tng, and then did a joyride all over the island.. dropped sad off at bukit panjang, then alan at sembawang.. and all the way back to bedok for endy and home for me...
there's a allRA yahoo groups, and when i got home.... woo.. the administrator had already added the whole bunch of us... enthu!
