Smile Singapore 2006! Let's welcome the IMF/WB delegates with our brightest smiles. Let's show the world what a fiasco this whole affair has been.

Hotels have increased prices in anticipation of the delegates who would be attending the meetings. They've turned away customers so ensure there would be rooms for the delegates, perhaps even the protesters would've contributed a large number to the occupancy rates, but as the situation is now, nobody's coming to protest either.

Limo drivers at the airport are complaining that they're waiting at the airport, for nobody. Suntec businesses have seen better days, even during SARS.

No wonder they were collecting smiles for murals. Because nobody's going to be smiling during the event, or after it.
