monkey island

and here i am back in monkey island...

this place seriously isn't hospitable.. no wonder they kept exploring by sea, looking for new places to conquere. it's just so gloomy and rainy. and the rain comes down non stop. you can get 10 minutes of sunshine, and next thing you know, it's raining.

and the wind, don't get me started. they could just power everything by wind.

the cops don't carry guns, and the youth are really running amok.

work has been fine, but the deadline is tight, but we'll deliver. i'm confident of that, on my part anyways. not too sure about the others.

and since the weather is so horrid, i'm just going to save money and not visit anywhere.

this time round i think i'll be able to save more money as we managed to get accomodation at a serviced apartment. it's a 2 bedroom apartment which i'm sharing with a colleague. from 65 a night per person to 85 a night per apartment, it's like being back in australia again, cept this time i'm here for work, and exactly having a lot of fun.

and after all that whining, at least there's some good news... i only have to be here for 3 weeks this time and i'm going home for a week. surprisingly, swissair didn't charge me for changing the ticket.. apparently i was on a higher fare rate. :S
