funny how when you want to finish up lessons either the students disappear, or the weather plays tricks on you, or both come at the same time! looks like all my lessons have to be pushed to after 5th may when i finish my exams to be finished. by lessons i mean those that i'm teaching at ecp, where i teach part time as a skating instructor.

and it's funny how some people, even though they know they have a responsibility, just somehow don't do their job to the best of their abilities even though they know they have to, just because they'll be leaving.

politics abound in skating and it really is quite annoying to see how people tend to be selfish and greedy and all that.. someone it's difficult to come to a concensus and work toward building the sport together. it's funny when you see how speedskating has lots of potential but has fallen apart due to all the politics within the different teams, and between teams.

i'm glad i'm taking a break from skating. i can't skate with my knee in this condition. so it's good that i get time off to recover while taking a break from all that politics.

sigh. i need to work harder on my revision. somehow i don't feel the sense of urgency.
