dreamt i went diving, forgot my gloves, then i went diving.. and was waddling around on the surface, and this time, i saw myself from below.. and next thing i know.. i kept getting nearer to myself, nearer and nearer, till suddenly i was out of the water...

oh.. i was looking at myself from the point of view of a great white... and i had just attacked and ate myself up.. hurhur

the story of the whaleshark at chebeh
as told by eye witness...

descended to the reef and was moving around 15m, kinda docile and uninteresting dive, we were going to do and look at a remora disturb a pufferfish when suddenly the all familiar metal pointer banging on the tank sounded... we saw.. cobias! swam straight for them and suddenly, a silhouette appeared... WHALESHARK! dive frenzy mode, it was like space marines on stim packs, we all swam, alf gave chase, followed by jagr, i sort of idled and gave chase when i set my camera to video mode...

the whaleshark seemed to notice us.. it ascended.. 9m... my dive comp made all the noise, but all i could think of was getting close enough to film the shark... it swam.. we swam... then as we were about to give up on the chase.. it decided we wern't too ugly, and decided to turn around, since 50% of us had cameras.. the glam shark it was... swam back, did a few swim past poses... gave jagr a beady eyed 30cm away from your face swim past... tickled kint's undercarriage with it's tail.. and woosh, it disappeared into the blue...

we were excited.. we turned around and swam back to the drop off... and boy oh boy, we caught a glimpse of it for a second time..

my weekend and the sleep deprived week
i seem to have insufficient time to do all i want to do.. i'm complaining about not having enough sleep.. AGAIN! goodness, i really need better time management, or live in another planet with more than 24 hours a day, maybe 36 hours, 24 for me to do whatever i want to do, and 12 to sleep

the highlight of the trip was the spotting of a WHALESHARK! goodness goodness goodness, it's so breathtaking, so beautiful, so rare, 2nd sighting in 2 years of a whaleshark in tioman... so lucky so luucky!!!

okay, i'm going to make this a short one, just that i miss diving.. i wanna dive more, i wanna get back to skating as well, and i've got to sleep more so i don't make blunders at work...

thunder thighs
nope it's not an entry about girls with short skirts and those incredible thighs..

i've been stuck down by excessive footgun training and now i can hardly climb the stairs... wargh...

hopefully by next month i'll be able to do the footgun with both feet.. it's really about time i made an effort to "suffer" a little physical strain to hone my craft..

so my course has been extended till 11th november, hopefully i get to take 1 week's leave then, cuz i'm supposed to move on the 14th of november...

going diving this weekend, 7th october, tioman this time, hopefully it's fun, and some big fish to see this time, given the season is almost going to end, and the monsoon is going to begin coming in..

okay i dunno what else to say... there isn't exactly anything exciting happening...
