i've been living with a dvd-rw drive that produces coasters, and another that refuses to open the tray until literally poked with a little pin...
after 2 coasters, computer malfunctions, i got upset and drove down to sls to get myself 2 new dvd-rw drives.. pity they're still rpc2 (see the firmware page for more information about rpc info.
so i got myself the black benq dw1670, pretty decent, made 2 dvds for lw using them, no
coasters
as the questions have been coming in, it's time for some announcements.
i'm going to sydney next year to pursue my masters, masters in information technology, (but we know the money is in pr0n and gambling, online i.e.) i'll be at sydney u, and i've found a housemate, my cousin, who's staying back to work, after all the years in sydney.
be gone in february, and i'll decide if i want to come back during the winter break
and as for skating, it's been ages since i skated leisurely, or felt the urge to. the crowd at ecp is less appealing than ever, and the weather isn't helping either. however, i've managed to affix the fsk frames onto my seba, as far as the mods are concerned, i'm more or less done, save the scruff pads i've been waiting for, a long time at that.
and i'm going diving in phuket, on a lob in january as well, so that covers diving.
