that one week holiday

it was over so quickly.. didn't even feel like work..

went for very informative lessons.. which helped me get up to speed with abap..

and then throw in a nyc and philly visit and that nba game.. and loads of trips to king of prussia mall..

now i'm here in walldorf germany, 100km south of frankfurt... at company hq.. picking up as much and as quickly as i can from my senior before he goes back to sg...

national basketball association

as some of you may have guessed or already know, i left for the us on sunday, after being informed on friday.. last minute travelling. woot.

so after an 18 hour flight, i arrived at newark liberty, cleared customs, and made my way to the hertz area and then got my car, drove to pennsylvania and got lost around west chester before locating the holiday inn..

the next day i made it to sap america newtown to start lessons. and after lunch, the instructor offered tickets to an nba game at the wachovia center between the 76ers and the celtics. grabbed the ticket and arranged to carpool with coursemates to the center.

the shock of shocks came after that. barely 24 hours into the usa, i was in a corporate suite belonging to sap america, with free food, snacks, beer, and an excellent view of the game. let the pics speak for themselves. and to top it off, got to meet nba players from the championship winning team of 82,83. got a free cap autographed by them too. :D

the sudden departure

sorry i had to leave so quickly dear..

was watching 10,000bc on friday midnight when the boss emailed.. saying i'm to be in company hq on monday.. hq being in germany...

next thing i know, over the next 24 hours, it's a frenzy of bringing yue to huihui's hse for her to hang out and make brownies, for me to go pack, for us to go to yen's for his birthday party, then to mustafa with marcel and rick..

then on sunday... i boarded sq22 and departed at 1210 for newark.. 18 hours later, here i am, having earned a day.. found my way using google maps from newark to west chester philadelphia, with a few oops, wrong turns along the way...

i wonder if i'll have a chance to visit nyc this weekend..
