met up with the guys from nus at auntie's. auntie's is this stall at bukit timah market, that sells imported beers at discounted prices, ice cold beers, mugs, ice, who's to complain?

great to catch up with the guys that i spent so many of my days at nus with.

on the way back, i realise the aye is friggin dirty! the right lane was strewn with debris, rocks, and what not..

so i switched to lane 2. and then there's the nice twisty portion just before benjamin sheares bridge toward the airport, i was feeling good, and so didn't really slow down much.

then from the rear view i observe 2 cars at high speed, with a white light in the middle of their roof.. i thought, new taxi signs? so i just drove on, and then suddenly the next thing i knew, one of them was alongside me on the left... TP! FRICK... i lifted my foot off the pedal, he flashed his lights, and sped off.. the other came alongside on the right, then sped off. they both exited rochor...

phew.

i'm back in singapore.

well, till sunday at least. then after which i'm back to germany.

and i gave in to the mod virus. got a set of m-tech sports shocks off someone's e92 and the front brakes, rotors and calipers, damn, they are big. saves me the trouble of sourcing for a bbk for awhile. quite happy with it. no longer hear the squeaking and groaning after rain or when going over humps. getting wheels aligned tomorrow. 要race吗?

On the way back we narrowly missed crashing on the autobahn, the cars all suddenly stopped, ice on the roads, the driver, not me, my colleague, braked, and the car just skidded, luckily he's had experience on icy roads, he let go of the brakes, countersteered, and we managed to avoid hitting the center barrier, or the other cars...
