i find that having not enough sleep does certain things to you, such as helping you become more alert, or attuned to certain stuff, and you lose sight of certain things, you may do things sluggishly, or seem absent minded...

then.. having nothing to do, you also start forgetting certain things, you remember unimportant stuff, you tend to go about doing things and end up forgetting why you did them in the first place..

i feel the need to do something, yet, things aren't moving the way i want them to, looking for a job is not easy... the wait is agonising. i want to do work, but yet, i want to do something that i really enjoy too..

i'm still alive

while on msn last night, janfy suddenly told me i've not updated this thing for ages, and yeah, i haven't indeed. but there hasn't been much to write about, and i wasn't feeling too keen on writing about anything. after camp, things didn't seem as interesting i suppose.

last saturday was good, skating till late and having nightsnacks at sin hoi sai, this chinese zhu chao restaurant outside my old place at katong. i got my new frames from longwen, but regretfully he forgot to bring the mounting screws and axles for the frame, so i couldn't fix up the skate yet.

monday came, was hanging out at home waiting for some information about a arcaknights outing at jec, they went for ktv and ice skating, and when mayi told me they went to ice skate, i decided to go down to check it out. not a bad choice, there were people i knew in the rink, like peiwen and april, so i wouldn't feel lonely skating and looking out for freshmen from the camp... being youth day, it was really crowded, but it's nice to ice skate on crowded days, you get to practice weaving and stopping and turning more often than usual, but seriously, i prefer to slalom nowadays, a lot more things to learn and practice. caught spiderman with the etaks crew at marina leisureplex after that. what a mess the place is. had dinner at garlic restaurant. not bad the food, too bad portions were too small, i still had to fill myself up with a whopper...

nuahed the whole of tuesday before i got off my fat ass to meet yi for dinner, then went to keppel to do some cardio and weights..

then on wed i earned it all back by going out with jia and janis for spiderman, then we hung around heeren till it was time to go off, then we decided to go black angus for dinner. mmm. always like the steak there. and there was this door bitch, quite cute, haha, had an eyeful during dinner. played lateral thinking puzzles with jan and jia during dinner. fell asleep waiting for jan to finish her food... kaoz..

thursday, well, thursday was convocation day, or commencement ceremony, as nus would like to name it. went to school, got my stuff done up, helped some other with their gowns, then went down to ucc to take photographs and the skaters came down, thanks a lot for the sunflower, it's the only cheerful thing in my room now, and a few mcm came down. (mcm - men's club members) another time, i'll talk about the mcm escapades since sec sch days. took photos till they kept making announcements and ushered us into the hall. short and sweet, but boring ceremony. forgettable speech by valedictorian, and then it was more photo taking, but it was dark, the ceremony starting at 8. i gave up. went home and changed up before going back to school. back in sch, the night had just begun! baileys, xo, cordon bleu, jose cuervo... we had it all, we bought mixers, kway chap, ate a bit and started attacking the drinks. i was fighting bear, isaac, mikeax and cheechiu who were having the tequila, and me having xo green tea.. and i managed to drink the xo faster than those 4 having their tequila sunrise.. wahhahaa.. then we setup the dvd player i bought for them and watched a bit of zoolander before i fell asleep..

friday! 1st day of temp work at wizlearn pte ltd... they're a spin off company from nus, selling ivle. well, they were setup to further develop ivle and market it to schools locally, i believe they want to go regional now, helped them test the new system built on .net and it was quite interesting, noting down the stuff. after lunch with the development team at clementi, some of the other staff came over to say hi, "do some PR" as the graphics development lady, jasmine, put it. haha. and before i left, the hr manager told me to give her my cv, since they have an opening in their sales team. i'll see how. haha. their development team is strong enough. can submit for the fun of it, try an interview to get more interview experience. :)

saturday, yesterday, well, worked a bit more, then came back home, nuahed, got sian of nuahing so went down to ecp, lw came with the rest of my stuff for the skates and i set it up. i now have an orange twister with a sidewinder frame and a black twister with a salomon 237 frame. the black twister with the shorter frame is really quite shiok, i can do toe toe spins with it quite effortlessly, since the front wheel is right under my toes. it was nora's birthday, from chuan's group, they had celebrations, but we decided not to join them, and stupid me, twisted my knee while doing shoot the duck at bedok jetty.. now my left knee is in a knee brace.. was really painful at first but now i'm feeling better...

going for rick's convo first, then going down to orchard cine to meet my OG for their outing. yeah!

well i spent 3 days and 3 nights with a bunch of fun people at sentosa, waking up early to make breakfast for them, staying up playing games with them, hanging out with them, sleeping late.. partying..

well, it was a great time i had!

and now it's time to look for a job... rejected by soc graduate office.
