the primary course came down to join us in the simulator today, can see they aren't too fam with the system, just like how we were stupefied by our senior batch, the amount of information they processed, read back, clicked on.. and today we sort of did the same to them.. hopefully they know how the system works..

anyways after work i went to ecp for a short skate, had dinner with light... then came home when alex told us it was raining at jetty..
it did rain, but it stopped as we approached the underpass.. thankfully.. didn't want to get drenched.. will be skating with jamie tomorrow at ecp if the weather holds, esplanade if the weather sux.

then i hung around waiting for my couz to give me a call... and then he did, i went to go fix up his new tablet to connect to his wireless network at home as well as his email...

then i got a first kiss! haha.. from my baby cousin nat.. she's so cute!

now i slow down and zen when i panic at work...
this new zen thing is working quite well, slowing down speech, not getting overly excited over events, remaining calm, helps me to think better and conduct my training better at work.. it's a sudden realisation after many late nights and a complete lack of sleep.

anyways yesterday was the skate club agm, went down to look see and get my viper sidewinder frames back from jiexun, who happens to be the new chairperson of the nus skate club... the room was packed so we hung out around the meeting room and started doing stupid things..

anyways during the week we finally got upgraded from 2 control positions to 3 inside the simulator.. or better known as uncle chow's dungeon.. it's really quite a dungeon, you can hardly get any handphone reception in there, but strangely, once you walk out, the reception comes up to 3 bars at least.. anyways a lot more to be learnt and a lot more practice needed..

thursday night met up with eileen and had dinner with her at ikea.. meatballs, poached salmon, chicken wings, and i got myself 2 new pillows for the car. and i identified some rugs and a low coffee table that i wanted to get for my new place.
then cheryl said she felt like having a beer, so we went to badens at holland village, and eileen managed to get liz to come down as well.. so we hung around, and cheryl turned beet red, so did this other girl who went to badens looking a little pale, but left looking like a half baked lobster..

then after work on friday i ended up having dinner with cheryl and eileen again, cuz those two were part time milo girls at the marina south carnival. this time we had dinner with minglun(eileen's bf) joining us, and we ate at marina south. $12 steamboat bbq buffet. not too bad, had quite a bit, and we got tickets for bewitched, and eileen suggested i book 5 tickets so we could force liz to go watch with us. huimin the d0do had decided she was too lazy, 2 nights in a row, to travel beyond her office(east of singaporE) to meet us. so we dropped cheryl off to bathe; and i really think that woman uses a lot of water when she bathes, then over to liz place to take a quick shower before we headed off to tiong bahru. after the show, eileen went off, so did minglun, then i ended up at altivo with liz and cheryl.. this time we had a bucket of budweiser; WHASSSSSSSSSUUUUP; and cheryl promptly got a little more rashes...

saturday was spent at the marina south ndp carnival at the pub booth helping wws out.. i thought i was in the afternoon shift, so i turned off my phone, went to sleep, woke up and realised too late that i was due for the morning shift from 10-2.. but i got there at 2 anyways, and thankfully the crowd in the morning wasn't too promising, and we had a positive flow of people in the afternoon, so it was alright that i was there in the afternoon.. then after the carnival i headed off to suntec, where james the SQ pilot to be was finally released from confinement from singapore flying college(in seletar camp) and we met up, along with ting, cheechiu, the brothers lim, cheen, and had a round of beer at paulaners... after the drinks, isaac went home, then i met up again with him around 1215 at tmall and we caught seven swords.. i really liked the colours in the show, and the swords were fantastic.. i think it's alright as a show, not too bad, and i'm glad there'll be more to come!

so i drank 3 nights in a row.. wheeee.. i'm glad i'm not like cheryl, a true jekyll and hyde after drinking, with all the rashes..

wanted to go skating today, and it rained when i woke up, that was demoralising, but i had a nagging feeling it would happen, but eventually made it down to ecp, and it was drier... so skated up to fort road with isaac and then waited for his foc freshmen to arrive. i got my frames from kelvin who almost sold it.. -_-" should've called him when lw told me he left my frames there..

anyways i tried fitting my new frames, and once again i realised the problem, i need washers... spring washers to be precise..

so skated a bit, lingshan came down real late, and later scooted off with someone.. but at least some others like greg and xiaozhu where there, so it was pretty fun.. more atmosphere at the rink i feel..

i made an appointment to continue the skating lessons with miss kerri who has been in a good mood recently.. and hopefully it lasts.. the goth chick with a good mood thing is quite interesting actually

it's time to start skating again.. since i feel my knee is getting better, just hope it's not a serious hairline crack and i'm not going to break my leg from it.. choi! *touch wood*

exam on tuesday.. time to hit the books!

so it's come and gone, the nation's 40th birthday. somehow as the years pass i feel less and less attracted to watch the celebrations, i begin to find little ways to show my patriotism.. not that i'm not if i don't want to watch the parade, but i guess it's lost it's appeal to me years ago. but i do like to show my pride and joy in being a singaporean in little ways..

anyways last sat i did work for wws, by helping out at the pub booth at the national day carnival, then after i went out with cheryl, huimin, liz and her bro.. from tiong bahru to mt faber to ecp to balestier.. with nothing to do, it's really quite good that i still have people to hang out with...

monday was quite a relaxed day as the instructors were in a semi holiday mood, and it was helped by the projectors in the simulator deciding to go on strike and have a blown bulb, which took a whole morning to get fixed.

met up with isaac on mon night as well, and ended up skating at ecp with him and andrew, and hung out till 4am.. been awhile since i skated till thus late..

i think i'm slowly adapting to the pace at work, but there's still a lot of improvement to be seen and worked on if i'm to get better, and i also have to be more open and receptive.. oh wells, the fall after pride is always harder..

and do i sound like i'm having a crush? haha.. sometimes it's just the mood.. but yes, i'm having one. not telling who it is. cuz i don't think anything would come out of it, not for me, the one with bad love karma.. *snigger*

got bored in my father's car and took 2 photos

nice and lazy sunday. woke up to a fried bee hoon lunch, isaac bunked over again, then i started on my notes for my exam on tuesday, 85% to pass! eeks. did a bit of it, then went down to ecp with weiting and isaac. we skated to fort road, then hung out at the rink to skate around.
i did a bit of slalom, and fell when trying to force my way thru the 8th cone on my heel wheeling... leaned a little too far forward, the skate came down.. and i went foward.. broke the fall with my hand, but my knee had to jerk out and i hit my right knee quite hard.. still hurts now... hope it doesn't bruise badly..

chilled out a bit then sent weiting home for her home cooked chicken rice dinner, whilst me and isaac adjourned to five star to have... chicken rice as well! but we had quite the feast, which thai style tofu, beansprouts with salted fish, salad you tiao, and half a chicken..

before dinner we went to check out my new place as well, and looked at the carpentry that was being done.. was faked by my mom, who said the lights had already been installed.. in the end had to use the tiny little led light on my handphone...

after dinner we wanted to check out the ice cream gallery, which is at eastwood green/point.. but they were closed.. anyways, isaac mentioned that he's sampled their durian ice cream before, and it was snapped up like hotcakes during his formation life run.. next time..

so instead we went to gelare to have waffle.. got a large waffle, had a scoop of cookies and cream, and a scoop of butter pecan. after the nice bit of dessert, weiting decided she didn't have enough, and went and got herself another scoop of gelato...

and my turtles are revolting! they insist on climbing out of their tank....
